Dreamwalker is owned and operated by Jack Feiereisen and
Rona Ramkhelawan. Jack, a former philosophy professor and
Fulbright Scholar, has over thirty years experience
sailing the Great Lakes, Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and
Caribbean. After retiring from academia, he operated a
successful charter business in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida
before joining the Virgin Island’s Charter League. He
has, additionally, taught heavy weather seamanship for Sun
Coast Sailing and Blue-Water and Bareboat Certification
courses for Annapolis. A Virgin Island resident for over a
decade, Jack thoroughly knows the waters, the islands and
the most secluded anchorages.
Originally
from Trinidad, Rona Ramkhelawan has been a professional
chef for almost fifteen years. As our menu indicates, she
has extensive knowledge of American and West European
Cuisine and is, of course, an expert on West Indian
cooking. She may be the only charter chef to ever receive
a standing ovation for one of her meals (Sea Bass en
Croute).
Both Jack
and Rona believe that the best Caribbean cruises feature
an exquisite vessel, gourmet meals, incredible snorkeling,
beautiful sunsets, delightful conversation, good times and
fine sailing. Such cruises, they add, are modeled on the
idea of friends sharing a home rather than guests visiting
for a week.
